The one and only time I visited upstate NY in Jan or Feb was enough to make me swear off returning at that time of the year. I imagine that it's a bit like where you are. Enjoying the liquid sunshine now in sunny CA but we did have a taste of spring last week.

Had a fine time in SF last month at the Seal Beach Inn, Legion of Honor, Benihana's, and the SF Symphony. Not much for big cities but as big cities go SF is pretty nice...unless you get eaten by a tiger.

Hi Dave,

I'm back now! Guess I disappeared from the blogosphere for a while, huh? Sorry 'bout that!

Dave

Welcome back though I have been keeping up your much more interesting than mine life on facebook. Been a while since I fired up Safari on my mac (usually doing final cut pro on it and not web browsing) and saw the "notes on a quest" tab. What made you come back? (or will I find out when i read further?) tc

Memorial Day Weekend - NYC

Memorial Day weekend also coincided with Fleet Week, great weather, and a desire to just walk around Manhattan and find a nice corner for drinks and people watching.
